Jar Jacket

Here's my first jar jacket!  Not bad considering I didn't buy the wool till gone 3.00 this afternoon!

Finished just in time to dash into the garden and snip a couple of flowers before the sun went right down.

I've made this one slightly too slender.  It probably wouldn't fit over a standard empty jam jar but it's a good fit on a cordial glass.

Hi there. This is a bit new to me. I think I've just lost my previous comment. Just wanted to say a quick hello. I've been enjoying your blog for a little while and didn't want to lurk any longer. Our children are now at uni but I am enjoying all the fun you get up to with your little ones. It brings back memories. I was prompted to write by your MayDay post. I think I recognised the tea pots. I did the Beltane walk there last Sunday and spent a lovely couple of hours walking around the gardens. Forgive me if I don't make sense!
I may not post often as life is busy. I work full time and strive to be self sufficient - there is always lots to do! Take care till next time x

Hi Carole, Thanks for your comment - and yes, you do make sense! Those teapots are wonderful aren't they? They look so real yet actually they're plastic watering cans!
