Well I don't want to sound like a prude, but...

...since when has it become acceptable for toilet doors to be made of glass and without a lock? We spent a couple of nights at the Premier Inn at Trentham Gardens, Stoke, earlier this week. The place was great, but why the glass bathroom door? Sure, it had a slight frosting, but that didn't make it much better in my view. No lock and didn't even fit right to the walls, so in addition to the sight you could also hear and smell everything going on.. Too much information perhaps? I'm sorry. Oh, I don't care, call me a prude but I prefer wooden toilet doors with bolts!

How does that particular bathroomery arrangement rank against the high-rise compost loo though? See, it could have been worse ;-)

Oh man, I got told off by another mother recently because our bathroom door has a lock. I didn't put it there, it came with the house. The big kids started using it when they're in the shower, I never gave it a thought. I also started using it when I'm using my mooncup to give you far far TMI, lets face it, NOBODY wants to barge in on that!
Anyway, apparently 'We don't lock each other out' in nice, good families. Ah well!
