We're really enjoying BrainPOP at the moment. We signed up for a free trial, which is still live a week on. I think we may well join properly once the trial has expired.
I'm a bit disillusioned with educational resources at the moment. Five In A Row was my resource of choice for early years, and without doubt, Galore Park for KS2, but now Hermione is moving into KS3 all I can find is really dull and more concerned with box ticking than expanding the mind.
All suggestions gratefully received. At the moment we're muddling along with project based work but that requires lots of input from me, and sometimes I would like to have a 'lesson in a box' to fall back on.

Have you seen http://www.khanacademy.org/
Maths is covered very well step by step in videos, along with practise problems. There's also history, some biology and so on. I just watched a histroy of art one that I thought was pretty good.
Not come across that one. Will have to check it out. Thank you :-)
For KS3 we use CGP workbooks and find BBC schools good.
Do you find that CGP go into sufficient depth Amanda? I wasn't keen on them for KS2 but haven't looked at them for KS3. Must do that. Thank you.
I'll blog about it. xx
Cool. Would be great to see you back blogging xx
