I'm home...

We're back from a wonderful few days yurting in the Lake District.

Already missing the breathtaking views from the door, the toasty cosy yurtiness, crackling log burner, drinking and showering in mountain filtered water with no dross added, sky gazing through the amazing roof and the smell of potatos baking in the wood oven.

So much to tell - but so many bags to unpack.

Our yurt, nestled in the shadows of lofty peaks.

Wow, love the yurt, and all your great holiday photos. We spent a couple of nights at Grizedale near to Hill Top on our way up to Skye last month. I didn't realise the circular camping "thing" next to our tent was a yurt - how ignorant I am! Certainly looked really cosy and inviting from your photos.

Bet you had a fantastic time there. I love scenic places - and I have visited the Lake district before. Not in a yurt though - in a youth hostel by Lake Windermere. Wasn't quite as good as your yurt though! :-) Daniel x
