Wasp!

Perhaps it's just another sign of the mild winter, but having had the windows open for a while this morning, I discovered a huge, drowsy, wasp on the blinds!

Urrrghh, the Geordies of the insect world!

It sure is! I've been bitten by some sort of critter on my leg too - not an unusual occurrence but it doesn't usually happen this early in the year.
