T'was the night before Christmas..

..and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse - that is unless you live close by in which case you might have heard a terrible din till the early hours.

We couldn't possibly imagine what the noise was. Craig was having to work late and in the end we snuggled up listening to Fantastic Mr Fox on cd to drown out the noise and fall asleep.

We had been up going on three hours this morning before Hermione happened to look out of the window and noticed a little wooden house in our back garden. We were all speechless!

It's ever so sweet. It's obviously preloved but that's alright. Santa's a switched on kind of guy. He's into recycling.

As well as recycling he's also obviously spent lots of time planning the inside to make it as cosy, fun and welcoming as possible. Goodness, he's cool that guy! I like his taste. I can just imagine myself snuggling on the candy striped bench seat come day bed and drawing along the birdy curtain to make a nest in which to escape the hum drum some days.

I might have a drink or snack while admiring the vintage retro style prints.

Or maybe just sit back and do a bit of drawing or play with the bits and bobs around the place.

Merry Christmas one and all!
